Growing herbs such as basil are very simple, but preserving them can be a little tricky. We have noticed how fresh herbs at the grocery store are expensive and do not look the greatest. So growing our own is not only less expensive but is fresh, and we know what is on the herbs and how they were grown.

Sweet Basil is an herb that lends its flavor and aroma amazingly in many dishes, especially in spaghetti sauce! Basil can wilt very quickly, so I wanted to share a video below of one way to preserve basil in the video below.
