In the two videos below, I will show you how to make your own sink cleaner (for stainless steel sinks) using essential oil and how to apply it to your sink. In the second video, you’ll see that I prefer to use the O Cedar Scrunge for cleaning my sinks. This sponge holds up nicely and doesn’t fray as quickly as others I’ve tried in the past. I personally never use sponges for cleaning my dishes, I only use sponges to scrub my sinks and tubs since they hold so much bacteria. Sponges are relatively cheap so don’t hold on to them too long. Also, be sure to remove all jewelry when cleaning. I did not remove mine in the second video because I was doing a quick tutorial. NEVER leave your jewelry on when working around drains as there is always the risk of them falling off. However, if you are cleaning regular surfaces (counter tops, stove, etc) the baking soda and vinegar will actually clean your jewelry so you get a two for one: clean surfaces and clean jewelry! I really enjoy making my own cleaning solutions whenever I can as opposed to buying them because most of the powerful ones contain bleach and that is a no-no in our home (I will explain about that soon).
