I’ve heard many people say that there aren’t any good coupons like there used to be. While it’s true that money saving coupons aren’t as common in printed newspapers as they once were, it’s largely because they’ve moved to a digital format online. More coupons are being distributed digitally rather than printed in your local paper. I personally wish it was easier to find the coupons I needed right in my newspaper every Sunday, but in lieu of that, here are some sites I have found that work great and have what I need:
Pinch Me(sends you samples AND coupons once every month)
**You can also email companies for coupons! For just about any name brand company, you can go to their website and find the CONTACT US/EMAIL US link and brag up their products and how much you and your family love it and chances are MOST companies will send you coupons after asking for your mailing address. Also, you can tell them you’ve had one product, but would like to try others that they offer.
There are also several sites to receive freebies and money-makers. I will list them below also. The perks about freebies and money-maker is sometimes you will receive decent coupons with a mail freebie or you can make money to go into your paypal/amazon account to buy essentials for your home. Similar to the coupons sites there are also several legitimate freebie and money-maker sites. These sites include the following:
There are several more that can be listed, however these are the ones that I’ve personally used and earned money and gift cards through. I am currently saving for something great that I can’t wait to show off in a few months through CrowdTap to show you how possible it is to earn nice products by taking a few minutes of your life each day. Each of these sites requires some time and patience (especially in the beginning) if you want to see any money or gift cards. I find the best time for myself to do them is during my breaks, breakfast, lunch, while making dinner and before bed. Also, don’t try to do too much in one day, because you will become worn out and bored with the all the surveys and missions. Make it fun and enjoy it. I’ve learned to have a goal with each one and go for it. Some of these sites like CrowdTap you can earn free full sized samples while completing missions. Most of the time they are new products just being released so you can have first dibs on testing out the product before anyone else. Below are a couple images of the some products I have received free just for signing up with these websites!
For some of these sites, it will require you to have a facebook page, a twitter page, or an instagram account. What I recommend is creating separate pages from your own personal page. This makes it so much easier and quicker to finding your deals. If you do not wish to create a new page such as facebook, you can always unfollow anyone or anything and only follow the sites that give out special offers and savings. This way you will never miss a great deal! Facebook and Twitter are wonderful for giveaways and coupon sites. Like or Follow a companies’ page on twitter or Facebook and never miss out! I personally have created a twitter page and instagram specifically for couponing and couponing only. I have not created a separate account on facebook and I haven’t seen the real need to do so…yet. I usually just unfollow certain people or businesses that post a lot everyday to keep from filling up my newsfeed from daily deals and giveaways. Another awesome “hack” I have discovered with facebook is if there is a page that you have LIKED that gives out coupons and/or giveaways and you never want to miss out you can select an option in your header of facebook to notify you as soon as they post a giveaway or an awesome coupon. I will show an image below so you can set your Facebook page to do the same. If you have questions please feel free to comment or send an email.

Many people have asked me why do I choose to coupon and do all of this to save our family’s dollars. Sadly there is a misconception that people coupon because they are poor. This is not the case. A person’s economic situation may have some bearing on their reason for couponing, but in our home I coupon to make the money we have been blessed with to go farther. I consider it foolish and unwise to give corporations’ more of our money than they already get. When most people think about the phrase “printing money” they think of bad counterfeits and time in federal prison. When I think of printing money I think of coupons’ and rebates. By choosing to take time out of my own life to sit down and find ways to receive freebies and save money not only helps my own family with our budget, but it’s also a great outreach that I would love to see grow. I’ve started couponing less than a year ago, and admit no way am I an expert. I am a novice and still learning. I have a large box full of items that I know my family will never use that were free. No charge to me, but just sitting down and working an hour a day clipping coupons, completing missions, or marking my calendar for a day of a giveaway. I love watching my box of items grow because I choose to collect items that I can give away to people who need or could use these items. My goal is to collect year round and give these items to other people. There are two fundamental methods of increasing your families’ financial quality of life. The first method is bringing home more money. We aren’t going to really talk about that much here. The other method however, is our primary focus and that method is spending less! By spending less, you essentially give yourself a raise. That is the most substantial reward for spending what you have wisely.
I hope these tips will benefit you and your family and others. I hope to be posting more tips in the future as I learn and again if you have any tips you would like to share please feel free to comment or send me an email. Use these tips to help your family save money and also help those who may be in need. I must admit I love receiving free items in the mail or seeing the UPS/USPS truck in my driveway carrying boxes onto my porch… it’s a great feeling for sure. But, being able to give these items away to those you know who can really use them is what being wise with budgeting, couponing and freebies is all about!
